[Funding roundup] Seligion Technologies raises Rs 3 Cr, FastJobs.io lands undisclosed sum

Founding member of Xiaomi and founders of Bounce Infinity and Jar App invest Rs 3 Cr in Seligion Technologies

Bounce Infinity CEO Vivekananda Hallekere, Jar App Nischay AG CEO, Xiaomi Global founding team member Alvin Tse, along with Amarante Shipping founder Captain Prashant Priya participated in the Selligion seed round Technologies Private Limited, investing Rs 3 crore. The funds will be used to build a scalable cloud-based software ecosystem for future deployments while distributing a variant of the computer to a sizeable number of students on a monthly subscription model.

Selligion has conceptualized, designed and developed a consumer cloud computer and has set out to reimagine computing for India by creating a cloud-based hardware and software ecosystem that can bring computing to all Indians for Rs 399 per month or less.

The team is currently testing the cloud-based computer they’ve built with real customers and will open up a variant of their computer for sale to customers across the country before the end of the year.

Jobtech platform FastJobs.io raises undisclosed amount from BookMyShow co-founders and others

Jobtech platform FastJobs.io has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed round from a group of angel investors led by Ashish Hemrajani, Founder and CEO, BookMyShow, Parikshit Dar, Co-Founder and Director, BookMyShow, Haresh Chawla, Director Founding Executive, Network18 and Partner, TrueNorth along with other angel investors.

Red Fort Capital provides Rs 10 Cr financing to sewage manufacturer Evocus

Red Fort Capital Finance, which specifically focuses on logistics, industrial parks and the manufacturing sector, has announced that it has provided Rs 10 crore financing to Evocus, a manufacturer of black alkaline water.

Evocus will use the capital to further its global expansion plans. Gujarat-based company D2C is a sewage brand. It is present in more than 50 cities and is available in offline and online channels. The plan now is to expand globally in 10 odd countries.
