Equanimity Fund II backs Bharat-focused dating app Hi Hello

Mumbai-based dating platform Hi Hello App has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed round of funding from  Equanimity InvestmentsFund II. The app was founded earlier this year by former Gupshup executives Shyam Tallamraju and Soumik Sarkar.

The app is available in 10 Indic languages ​​including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi. The multilingual platform claims to be secure, with no fake or duplicate profiles, and offers secure content, proprietary matching, localized search, and secure in-app voice calls as other features. Hi Hello is targeted at users from Tier II and III cities in India.

Erudit CEO endorses sports technology platform KheloMore

Co-founder and CEO of edtech unicorn learned, Ashwin Damera, has announced to invest an undisclosed amount in the coach and sports venue booking platform, KheloMore, through his family office, Damera Ventures. The family fund is also an investor in the venture debt fund InnoVen Capital India Fund.

Founded in 2017 by former Mumbai and Indian cricketer Jatin Paranjpe, KheloMore helps parents find coaches and book venues for various sports including cricket, football, badminton and basketball. Gaming company Dream11 invested in KheloMore in 2021.

Vijya Fintech raises a round of angels

Surat-based Vijya Fintech, which owns business-to-business wealth management platform Mercury, has announced the raising of $1 million in an angel round with the participation of strategic investors. BP Wealth, Narola Infotech Solutions, Sagar Investments, GK Globas and other investors participated in the round.

Mercury will use the funds to create affordable, open-architecture technology to power a multi-asset wealth management platform for financial intermediaries. The Mercury platform currently caters to stockbrokers, portfolio managers, dealers, and advisors. Vijya Fintech was founded in 2022 by Aakash Bansal and Paresh Paladiya.

Deep tech startup Solinas Integrity raises funding from 8X Ventures

Chennai-based deep tech startup Solinas Integrityfocused on robotics and digitization of assets for the pipeline and sanitation industry, has raised Rs 4.5 crore from 8X Ventures. Other investors in the round include Chetan Mehra of Weizmann Group’s Kotta Enterprises, Lister Ventures and Sophonos Investment.

Based at IIT Madras, Solinas was founded in 2018 by Divanshu Kumar, Moinak Banerjee and Bhavesh Narayani, with Londa Jasline. Faculty co-founders at the startup include Professor Prabhu R and Professor Krishnan. The company develops products for long and short range pipeline inspection and robotic cleaning of septic tanks and sewer lines.

Yellow raises an undisclosed amount in the pre-seed round

Bangalore-based digital will-making app Yellow has announced that it will raise an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed round from institutional and angel investors. Koo’s Apramaeya Radhakrishna, Muvin’s Mukund Rao, TTK Prestige’s TT Jagannathan, 3one4 Capital’s Pranav Pai and IIFL Wealth participated in the round, among others.

Founded in September 2021 by Niranjan Vemulkar, Nikhil Varghese, and Niranjan Salimath, the Yellow App offers a simple, secure, and cost-effective solution for estate planning. The company estimates that almost Rs 1.5 lakh crores is in unclaimed accounts in the country due to incomplete financial planning, including unavailability of a will, families unaware of the deceased’s assets and failure to update the nominees.

Peregrine Security invests in Deepsight AI Labs

Gurugram-based Peregrine Security has announced a Rs 2 crore investment in artificial intelligence and machine vision technology company, Deepsight AI Labs. The investment will ensure operations and integration of technology-driven human IT solutions within Peregrine’s security services and facilities management operations, the company said in a statement.

Deepsight AI Labs will use the capital to integrate low-cost advanced AI solutions to facilitate automated security solutions for its clients. The company will also develop internal AI and IoT support tools to support visitor management systems, 5G technology deployment, guard tour management systems, intelligent FM systems, and advanced surveillance solutions.
