Start of provision of health servicesit said Thursday that it plans to open 300 hospitals and 100 clinics in southern India by the end of next year as it looks to expand operations in smaller cities in the region.
The expansion will bring the total number of hospitals in its network to 500 and clinics to 150.
The company currently has surgical centers in Tier I and Tier II cities such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Madurai, Coimbatore, Kozhikode, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
The company has a presence in more than 12 surgical categories, including general surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, urology and gynecology, and plans to expand into dental care.
“We are committed to delving deeper into the healthcare ecosystem and strengthening our presence across the country. Currently, we have 200 partner hospitals and more than 50 clinics in South India. With this expansion, we plan to expand our reach to Tier II and Tier III cities,” Pristyn Care co-founder Harsimarbir Singh said in a statement.
The startup recently made a foray into primary healthcare with the acquisition of Lybrate, the Ratan Tata-backed health technology platform.
It currently operates around 800 surgical centers and has treated more than a lakh patients so far, he stated.
