Today’s show started, like many of them, as an in-person conversation in a dark bar in a cool city. That’s where Dan met gardener brentfounder of Amazon PPC agency AMZ Pathfinder.

Now ‘the agency model’ is a recurring theme on this show because they can be activated in a weekend, are often very profitable and can provide additional income to what you are already doing in a business. But if done poorly, agency owners can get caught up in the rut of ‘wrong’ clients and staffing problems.

But Brent seems to have hit the nail on the head and found a profitable business that also allows him to live in Montpellier, France, and enjoy the great outdoor lifestyle that the Mediterranean city has to offer.

Topics covered include: the mistake of not having ‘A’ players on your team before, why Brent feels his nomadic lifestyle set his business back for a while, and some ideas for agencies he could start today.

Listen and learn:

  • Why an agency does not need to be very stressful
  • How to choose the right type of client for your business
  • The Power of Signing ‘A’ Players
  • Some ideas for those looking to start an agency today
